I am interested in the transformation of matter between the metaphysical and material realms re-enacted through paradoxical nature of erasing –– the impossibility of effacing, as erasure flattens, disrupts, smudges and removes graphite particles, but traces of erasing inevitably remain and create more traces. In this piece, the loss of the drawing transforms into matters that present in a tangible form.
